Drawing from her experience with newborn twins Max and Lucie, Paula started her writing career in Dubai after having founded a support group for families of multiples called Twins, Triplets Or More (TTOM). Initially writing about the issues facing parents of multiples, Paula then went on to work with regional magazines and newspapers covering topics such as lifestyle, parenting as well as social issues.

The support network formed by TTOM allowed parents to share the ideas and advice that they had developed to cope with their own challenges. As founder, Paula learned of and shared many valuable ways to save time, money, effort and most importantly, sanity. She noticed that while there were numerous books available on raising children, none of them offered the sort of simple, practical solutions in an easy-to-read format that she was looking for.

With more writing credits to her name, Paula approached Zodiac Publishing to make her dream of writing a book encompassing all the good ideas she had collated a reality. Recognising the huge potential in this project, the Zodiac Publishing team set about producing the first title in the Pearls of Wisdom series, Pearls of Wisdom - From Pregnancy to Pre-school.

Paula currently lives in Dubai with her husband Chris and their 4 year-old twins, Max and Lucie. They are planning to relocate to the UK in early 2005.
